DisplayPort is the next generation interface standard in computer technology. This adapter connects a DisplayPort equipped laptop or PC to any high definition display such as an HDTV, monitor, or projector with HDMI connection.

It is designed to apply to ATI graphics card for Eyefinity technology support multi monitor output.
It takes the DisplayPort signaling and actively converting it to TMDS signaling, connecting to a HDMI monitor or television. This adapter lets you connect a HDMI interface digital display to a PC with a DisplayPort interface for easy connectivity.
